CNA/PCA, in North & South Carolina, Part Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for a part-time position. This role involves providing vital support and care to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care: Assist clients with daily personal tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Health Monitoring: Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
3. Mobility Assistance: Aid clients in moving, walking, and repositioning to prevent bedsores and maintain comfort.
4. Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist clients with eating, if necessary.
5. Medication Management: Assist with administering medication as prescribed, under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
6. Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in activities and conversations.
7. Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client care, condition, and progress.

Requirements:

– Valid CNA/PCA certification.
– Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
– Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Compassionate and patient demeanor.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR certification preferred.
– Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
